i looove that picture! that is so placid, it soothes my soul! my husband and i have been wanting to try kyaking. because of you, we'll probably try it soon! = ) !
It is the most tranquil activity I have ever tried. The picture was taken in southeastern Nova Scotia after a paddle in the bay. Nothing like it. I highly encourage anyone who likes the water to give it a whirl.
All right! My poor tandem has been gathering dust since my baby was born. I can't wait to take him out on the water.
Let me know how it goes! I can't wait to get Millie out on the water. I was too chicken/exhausted last summer 7-9 months pregnant to take out my kayak. Hopefully we will get the canoe out this year. We bought her a PFD of her own-she was none too happy in it!
Hmmmm, Millie strapped into a PDF - and she didn't like it???
I hope that she inherits your/our love of the ocean - cuz if she doesn't, she's going to have a tough childhood (but I think she will - I inherited my ocean obsession from my mother).
